The ROBOT2022 conference will take place in Zaragoza, a warm, lively and historical city, capital of the Aragón Region, in NE Spain and hosted in the Paraninfo Building of the University of Zaragoza.

The Paraninfo building is the Ricardo Magdalena's masterpiece and the origin and starting point of all regionalist architecture in the city, from which it undoubtedly constitutes his best example.

Since its inauguration in 1893 until 1973, it was the home to the Faculties of Medicine and Science. It is the oldest historical building of the University of Zaragoza and the best known and most studied, both for its monumentality and its high artistic value, as well as for its privileged position in the nerve center of the city.

With 115 years of life, the Building is the only one declared of Cultural Interest of all the university constructions and has become the institutional image of the University of Zaragoza.

The Paraninfo was one of the most outstanding buildings in Spain in its time and the one that contributed, decisively, to the renovation of the Aragonese architecture between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th.
