Prizes and publications

The conference organizes a number of awards.

Best Paper Awards

  • Best Paper award for general contributions. All the papers presented at the conference participate in this category including Special Session papers. It is awarded with a diploma and 400 euros in cash (courtesy of MDPI Sensors)

  • Best Paper finalist award for general contributions. All the papers presented at the conference participate in this category including Special Session papers. It is awarded with a diploma.

  • Best Student Paper award for students' contributions. All student papers presented at the conference participate in this category including Special Session papers. It is awarded with a diploma and 400 euros in cash (courtesy of MDPI Sensors)

  • Best Student Paper finalist award for students' contributions. All student papers presented at the conference participate in this category including Special Session papers. It is awarded with a diploma

Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards winners have the opportunity to send an extended version of their papers to the Sensors' special issue free of charge.

Best PhD and Master Thesis awards

  • Best Iberian PhD in Robotics award for PhD in the robotics field developed by Portuguese and Spanish students, awarded with a diploma and 600 euros in cash (courtesy of SEIDROB and SPR). Deadline for submission April, 30, 2022 (see details here).

  • Best Iberian PhD in Robotics finalist award for PhD in the robotics field developed by Portuguese and Spanish students, awarded with a diploma.

  • Best Spanish Master thesis in Robotics award for Master Thesis in the robotics field developed by Spanish students, awarded with a diploma and 400 euros in cash (courtesy of SEIDROB). Deadline for submission July, 31, 2022 (see details here).

  • Best Iberian Master thesis in Robotics finalist award for PhD in the robotics field developed Spanish students, awarded with a diploma.

Discount in publication fees

In addition, all the authors that decide to participate in the Sensors' special issue with an extended version of the conference paper will receive a discount on the publication fee.
